David Jeremiah McGee died Sept. 27, 2014. He was 53.
Mr. McGee was raised in Edwards, attended Hinds Agricultural High School and received a GED while living in Kansas. He worked at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Virginia and at LeTourneau in Vicksburg.
He is preceded in death by a grandmother, his father, Robert McGee and his mother, Ann McGee.
He is survived by a son, David McGee Jr., a daughter, Evelyn McGee; a stepdaughter, Stephanie; a brother Robert McGee of Edwards; four sisters, Carolyn Glinn and Marilyn Bryant of Edwards, Yvette Edwards of Molino, Fla. and Janice Swinton of Jackson.
Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 at Willis and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson. Call the funeral home at 601-372-0346 for service times.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
