Robert Hall

Robert Hall died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 86.

Born Sept. 27, 1928, to William W. Hall and Annie I. Andrews Hall in Nicholson, and was raised in Cosby. He had lived in Vicksburg since 1952.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Waterways Experiment Station, where he was an electronics technician, after 25 years of employment. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Larry Lee Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie J. Hall of Vicksburg; a daughter, Teri Laird of Seward, Alaska; two sons, David L. Hall of Hattiesburg and Gordon A. Hall of Panama City, Fla.; three brothers, George R. Hall of Florida, James Edward Hall of Pearl, and William W. Hall of Aberdeen; a sister, Rubye Nell Brown of Meridian; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service.
