Miss Duke marries Mr. Cuevas Aug. 16

Holly Marie Duke and Trey Hollis Cuevas were married Aug. 16, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Heritage United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. (Alice) Jonathan C. Duke of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Col and the late Mrs. Edmond Farrington of Alexandria, Virginia and the late Ms. Beulah Duke and the late Mr. J. Cecil Duke of Vicksburg.
The groom is the son of Mr. Millicent Cuevas and Mr. Ricky Cuevas, both of Purvis. He is the grandson of Ms. Bobby Cuevas of Purvis.
Rev. Scot Jones officiated at the ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father, Jonathan C. Duke, the bride’s chosen colors were taupe, topaz, and bellini.
Lauren Williams, of Magee, served as the maid of honor.
Jenna Artz of Oxford, Teila Balthrop of Atlanta, Maggie Hester of Gulfport, Lindsey Meador of Ocean Springs, Lynde Purvis of Purvis, Jansci Smith of Laurel, and Stephanie Spruill of Ocean Springs were the bridesmaids.
Madison Purvis, of Purvis, served as the flower girl.
Mr. Ricky Cuevas of Purvis was the best man.
John (Tyler) Conn of Ocean Springs, Martin Hankins of Purvis, Seth Hester of Gulfport, Bailey Hartel, Christopher Kirtland, Marc Maddox, Martin Roark, and Sam Thomas, all of Hattiesburg, were the groomsmen.
Kevin Coker of Atlanta, James (Brian) Dozier, Daniel Ross, and Kyle Sellers, all of Hattiesburg, served as the ushers.
Grayson Smith of Laurel was the ring bearer.
A reception followed at The Barn at Bridlewood.
For a wedding trip, the couple went to Sandals Grande Antiqua Resort.
The couple will make their home in Purvis.
The bride is completing her Masters in Social Work at the University of Southern Mississippi. The groom is employed at WastePro of Mississippi.
