Roy G. Brown Sr. died Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at his home. He was 78.
Born in Casper, Wyo., he lived his early childhood in Lance Creek, Wyo., before entering the U.S. Army and serving in the Korean War.
He later retired from the Bechtel Construction Co. as a safety supervisor after serving 22 years, working over various parts of the country. He was a member of the Shoshone Masonic Lodge in Cody, Wyo.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Bates Brown of Vicksburg; daughter, Annamarie Gretzinger of Vicksburg; son, Roy G. Brown Jr. of Martinez, Calif.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Glenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
No memorial services are scheduled.
