A look at how players from Vicksburg-area high schools did in college football and NFL games played over the weekend

• Mississippi State punter Devon Bell (Warren Central) averaged 49.0 yards on four punts in the top-ranked Bulldogs’ 45-31 win over Kentucky.

• Kentucky safety A.J. Stamps (Vicksburg High) had two solo tackles and four assists in the loss to Mississippi State.

• Louisiana Tech cornerback Adairius Barnes (Port Gibson) had three solo tackles, two assists and an interception in a 31-20 win over Southern Miss.

• Albany State offensive lineman Danny Bunch (Warren Central) started at left tackle in a 34-12 win over Clark Atlanta.

• New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler (Vicksburg High) had two pass breakups in a 51-23 rout of the Chicago Bears.
