LOUISVILLE — Marjorie W. Giffin, 91, died at her home in Louisville, on Nov. 2, 2014.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville.

Mrs. Giffin is survived by a daughter, Marsha Giffin Shields of Houston, Texas; and two sons, Dr. Lee Giffin of Vicksburg and William Suber “Billy” Giffin of Louisville; three grandsons, Gage Shields of Houston, Texas, Giffin Shields of Nashville, Tenn., and Garrigues Shields of Jackson; three granddaughters, Mary Claire Giffin of Starkville, Melissa Giffin Coker, of Huntsville, Ala., and Kalen D. Giffin of Starkville; and one great-granddaughter, Mamie Lee Coker of Huntsville, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her parents, E. L. Woodruff and Maude Gage Woodruff; her infant brother; and her loving husband, Dr. James R. Giffin.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Vicksburg; French Camp Academy, French Camp, MS; or Palmer Home, Columbus, MS.
