Woman held in MBN pot case

A Vicksburg woman accused of conspiracy to possess a pound of marijuana was held without bail this morning.

Mary Thigpen, 39, 1403 Division St., was arrested by Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics agents Thursday and charged with conspiracy to possess a pound of marijuana and possession of marijuana, according to Warren County Jail records.

Thigpen, who was booked into the jail at 11:50 a.m. Thursday, was held without bail this morning.

Attempts to reach the local Bureau of Narcotics office were unsuccessful this morning.
