Funeral services for Elijah Brumfield will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with Minister Lucille Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Brumfield died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital. He was 71.

He was retired from Waste Management Corp.

He was preceded in death by his father, Orin Brumfield Sr., and his mother, Lucille Whitaker.

Survivors include his daughter, Linda Morant of Lake Providence, La.; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
