Linda Ann Gordon, age 53, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Linda was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. She worked with Eaton Industries for 35 years in accounting and purchasing.

She enjoyed going to the beach with her girlfriends and watching her son play baseball. She enjoyed cooking and ran L&S Catering with her best friend, Sheila Prince. Linda was a loving mother and wife.

Linda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Zela Ruth and Robert H. Alexander, and her maternal grandparents, Charles and Gladys Stenens.

She is survived by her husband, Donald “Donnie” Gordon of Vicksburg; her son, Joshua “Josh” Gordon of Vicksburg; parents, Robert C. and Earlene Alexander of Vicksburg; a brother, Steven Alexander and wife Heidi of Vicksburg; and nieces and nephews.

Services are Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. George Butler officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service.
