MAYERSVILLE — Amos Laster Sr. of Mayersville died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2014, at his home. He was 58.

Survivors include his son, Amos Laster Jr. of Waukegan, Ill.; daughter, Tomasha Sherrod of Pleasant Prairie, Wis.; brother, Albert Robinson Jr. of Michigan; six sisters, Verlee Brockman and Carrie Stanley, both of Chicago, Ruby Stewart of Waukegan, Ill., and Hazel Laster, Cheryle Laster and Bernita Laster, all of Erie, Pa.; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be noon Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at Rose Hill M.B. Church in Mayersville with the Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Mayersville.

Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the service.
