WILLOW — Dorothy Rossette McGowan of Port Gibson died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at River Region Medical Center. She was 62.

Mrs. McGowan was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur McGowan; grandmother, Roberta Dotson; and three sisters, Bobbie Campbell McGowan, Jacqueline Campbell and Joyce Jones.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley McGowan of Port Gibson and Pamela Buie James of Jackson; mother, Joyce M. Jones of Port Gibson; father, Lawrence Campbell of Aurora, Ill.; four sisters, Charlotte Campbell, Ella Busar and Tiffany Jones, all of Vicksburg, and Roberta Jones of Port Gibson; four brothers, Carl Campbell, Willie Campbell and Roy Lee Jones, all of Port Gibson, and Elbert Campbell of Utica; two grandchildren; five aunts; four uncles; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at Campbell Chapel in Willow with Pastor James Jones officiating. Burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the service.
