PORT GIBSON — Deborah Curtis-West died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, in Detroit. She was 63.
Mrs. Curtis-West was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. J.P. Curtis and Nonnie Curtis.
Survivors include two sons, Derrick West of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Charles E. West, Jr. of Detroit; three daughters, Angela West and Penelope West, both of Detroit, and Derica McCondichie of Jackson; three brothers, Albert L. Curtis of Port Gibson, Edward L. Curtis and Charles P. Curtis, both of Jackson; three sisters, Mae Elma Buchanan of Crystal Springs, Thelma Spencer of Port Gibson and Majorie (David) Curtis-Porter of Detroit; two grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Services are noon, today, Dec. 30, 2014, at Welcome Baptist Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Wicks officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson.
