Sherri Harmon

Sherri Harmon died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 52.

A former resident of Tallulah, La., she had been a resident of Vicksburg for the past 12 years, and worked in the medical field for a number of years, including the Vicksburg Medical Center, Medical Associates and Midd-West. She was devoted to her sons through service in the Boy Scouts, Gator Football and the Big Blue Band. She attended the Triumph Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rodney Harmon; two sons, Justin Harmon and Nick Harmon; a sister, Stephanie Vanderford; two brothers, Ben Franklin and Frank Keen Jr; father and stepmother, Benny and Robbie Franklin; and stepfather, Frank Keen, Sr.

She was predeceased by her mother: Marion Keen.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Triumph Church, 136 Honey Suckle Lane, with visitation beginning at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the service. Mile Field and Rusty Keen will officiate. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, 255 East Pascagoula St., Jackson, MS.

Pallbearers will be Ben Shaw, David Keen, Austin Mann, Chris Middleton, Lloyd Autrey, Jon Brown, Justin Brown and Taylor Phillips.
