Jeanne P. Bingham

Jeanne P. Bingham died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at her home. She was 77.
Born and raised in Vardaman, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Terrell Perkins and Vivian Vanhorn Perkins.
She married her husband, Jimmie A. Bingham on Dec. 23, 1953, moving to Vicksburg in 1965. Mrs. Bingham was employed by the Jitney Jungle Grand Prize Stamp Store and later was employed by Sears in the old Battlefield Mall. She retired from Sears in Jackson and later managed the Sears Franchise Store in Vicksburg. Mrs. Bingham was member of the Junior Auxiliary and was an avid bridge enthusiast. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Gregory Bingham and James Barry Bingham both of Vicksburg; two grandchildren, Matthew Bingham and Lacy Greer; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Elizabeth Penick of Houston, Miss., Ann Morgan of Memphis, Tenn., Charlene Smith of Memphis, Tenn., and Helen Patino of Pearl.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at Riles Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Matt Buckles, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home until the hour of service.
Interment will be 11 a.m. Monday Jan. 12, 2015, at Bradford Chapel Cemetery in Calhoun County.
