PORT GIBSON — Brenda Irene Young passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2015.  She was 62.

Born to Grady W. Anderson and Bessie Mae Willis Anderson on Nov. 4, 1953, she was a native and lifelong resident of Claiborne County.  She was employed with Water Works Experiment Station for about 15 years.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Young, and her brother, Tommie Anderson.

She is survived by two brothers, James E. Anderson (Donna) of Austinburg, Ohio, and Grady Wayne Anderson (Chandra) of Port Gibson; and two sisters, Fay Green (Charles) of Red Lick and Jewel Scarber of Vicksburg.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015 at Wintergreen Cemetery with William May officiating.

Pallbearers will be Keith Green, Neal Roberson, Morgan Roberson, James Thorpe, Randy Sorells, Joe Byrd, Joey Byrd, and Baker Bryant.
