Funeral services for Tony C. McElroy will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at Greater Rose Hill M. B. Church with the Rev. Walter Weathersby officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. McElroy died Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, at Central Mississippi Medical Center.  He was 57.  He was self-employed and the founder of the RCCC Foundation. He was a member of the Hebrew Israelite Temple.

He was preceded in death by his parents Felix McElroy and Ivora Daniels, and his son, Corey Johnson.

Survivors include his son, Tony Latimore of Concord, Mass.; three daughters Tawana B. Floyd, Kretonia McElroy and Toniell McElroy, all of Vicksburg; eight brothers Rosman Daniels and Carl Daniels, both of Vicksburg, Mark McElroy of Los Angeles, Rainey Daniels and Stevie Daniels, both of New Orleans, Oliver McElroy, Curtis Stevenson and Gary Stevenson all of Hempstead, N.Y.; 11 sisters, Betty Daniels, Betty Simi and Leona A Thomas, all of Vicksburg, Reba McElroy and Caroline Andrews, both of New Orleans, Sharon Bates of Newark Calif., Pamela Gomez of Hammond, La., Andrea Daniels of Vicksburg, Saudia Garnett McElroy of Baton Rouge, La. Madeline Faye McElroy of Vallejo, Calif., and Brenda Stevenson of New York; three grandchildren; and aunts uncles , nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
