Dear editor,
Up front, I want to say that I am a George Flaggs fan. I have known George for 19 years, since coming to Vicksburg. Although he is Democrat and I am a registered Republican, really a Conservative, we agree on a lot of issues. In his State of the City address he stated the current form of government is outdated. George is right, but we won’t agree on the solution. I ask this question, Why are there two forms of government in a county who has ONE incorporated city?? Now that is an issue for discussion. Any takers?
