Funeral services for Ola Beatrice Jackson-Wells are 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at St. Mark M.B. Church, with the Rev. Alphonso Butler officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mark Cemetery with W.H Jefferson Funeral Home in charge. Visitation is 5-6 p.m. Friday in the Chapel.

Ms. Wells died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 at River Region Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was 69.

She was a member of St. Mark M.B. Church, where she was a member of the choir.

She was preceded in death by her mother, LueBertha Butler King; her brother, Leonard Butler; her grandparents, James and Cornelia Butler Sr.; and her daughter, Thelma Jackson Price.

Survivors include her three sons, Kenny King, Sr., of Richardson, Texas, Freddie Jackson and Joseph Wells, both of Vicksburg; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
