Peggy Jean Province Norwood died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at the age of 81.

Peggy was a native of Vicksburg and a resident of Gonzales, La.

She is survived by her sons, John David Norwood and spouse Debbie, and Gary Mason Norwood and spouse Stephanie; daughters, Donna Jean Mizell and spouse Marvin, and Sharon Denise Lambert and spouse Reed; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, Brandon (Sharon) Lambert and spouse Ivy and their children Brooke and Brandi, Ashley (David) Milam and spouse John and their children Mackenzie and Ethan, Allison (Donna) Lambert and her children Caleb and Cason Reine, Heather (Gary) and Paul French Jr. and their child Mason, Lindsey (Donna) Echeverria and spouse Cody and their children Bailey and Pasiley, Britnee (Sharon) Lambert and spouse Jordan and their expected son due in May Jonathan, Bradley (Gary) Norwood and his fiancee’ Brittany Loupe, and Emily (David) Norwood.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Daniel Norwood Jr.; infant daughter, Carol Diane; twin sister, Patsy Jane Tillston; brothers, Jack and Arthur Province; parents, James Alfred and Emma Province.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg.
