NORWOOD, Mass. (AP) — Malcolm Butler has intercepted the delivery of Tom Brady’s new truck.

Brady earned the prize for winning the Super Bowl MVP for the third time. He led the Patriots to a 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in this year’s game.

But New England didn’t clinch the win until the Vicksburg native Butler intercepted a pass at the goal line in the closing minute. And Brady said he would give the truck to Butler, who was an undrafted rookie.

Butler took delivery of the shiny red truck at a Boston-area dealership Tuesday.

Butler will be honored with a parade in Vicksburg on Feb. 21.

“It’s been great. Grammy awards. Getting a truck. Couldn’t be a better time,” Butler told Boston.com after he was given the keys to his new ride at Clay Chevrolet in Norwood, Mass.. “We had a meeting, and (Brady) was just like, ‘Congratulations on a big play, and you can get the keys to that truck,’ and I was just like, ‘Thank you.’ Tom’s a great guy for doing it. I couldn’t have done all that without my teammates, so I’m just thankful to have the truck.”

According to For The Win, the red 2015 Chevy Colorado will replace an older Chevy SUV that Butler bought for $8,000 last summer after making the team.

“It’s something new,” Butler said of his new-found fame. “I’m not really with all the attention but, you know, I just gotta do what I gotta do and just enjoy it.”
