Charles D. Wright died Friday, March 13, 2015, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 57.
Born in Fresno, Calif., he lived a number of years in Texas before moving to Lexington and graduating from Durant High School. For the past 30 years he had been making his home in Vicksburg, where he was formerly employed at Miller Tire Mart. Currently, he was the manager of T.C.I. Tire Centers in Richland. He was an avid motorcyclist and loved hunting. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Ferguson in 2009; his parents, Bobby and Helen Wright; and his sister, Susan Wright.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Duren Wright of Vicksburg; his daughter, Michelle Tuggle of Vicksburg; his stepparents, Jeannine and Bob Warren of Conroe, Texas; his stepsister, Sharon Michelle Wright of Conroe, Texas; his brother, Robert Wright of Baytown, Texas; his stepbrother, Keith Wright of Conroe, Texas; and his grandson, Justin Ryan Lofton of Vicksburg.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2015, in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Sibley officiating. Interment will follow in the Edwards Cemetery in Edwards.
Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Pallbearers will be Brian Jones, Jerry Neece, Bernard Tucker, Matthew Duren, Jason Duren, Michael Kinslow, Josh Gray and Alex Gray.
