Joseph Dendy’s daylong birdie bonanza boosted the Brandon senior above a slew of feisty competitors Thursday at Clear Creek Golf Course.

Dendy netted seven birdies in his round and finished with a 1-under par 71 to win the Warren Central Boys Invitational. Dendy beat St. Aloysius’ Channing Curtis by two shots.

Curtis was one of three Warren County golfers to finish in the top six in the six-team, 37-player tournament. His teammate, Gabriel Riveros, was fourth with a 76 and Vicksburg High’s Austin Neihaus tied for sixth with a 79.
