Eddie Lee Perry died Thursday, March 19, 2015, at his home. He was 66.

Born in Parkin, Ark., he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Perry and Rosie Lee Perry; and three brothers, Otis Perry, Leroy Perry and Arthur Perry Jr.

Survivors include five sons, Darrell Perry, Eddie Perry Jr., and Damian Perry, all of Kansas City, Mo., Nate Perry of Elgin, Ill., and Jonathan Hopkins, of Springfield, Mo.; four daughters, Carla Orr, of Decatur, Ala., Jacqueline Perry-Harris, of Elgin, Ill., and Lavena Perry and Jamisha Hopkins, both of Kansas City, Mo.; four brothers, Earl “Bo” Perry of Salt Lake City, Charles Perry, of Kansas City, Mo., Willie Lee Johnson of Parkin, Ark., and Richard Perry of Elgin, Ill.; three sisters, Georgia Perry of Kansas City, Mo., Evelyn Brown, of Jonesboro, Ark., and Rosetta Miller, of Kansas City, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Private graveside services were held Monday, March 23, 2015, at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home.
