Maxine Elizabeth Kilburn

Maxine Elizabeth Kilburn of Vicksburg died Monday, June 1, 2015, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. She was 85.
She was the daughter of the late James Mack and Gladys Beatrice Morgan.
Maxine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid gardener, known for her delicious tomatoes and beautiful flowers in her yard, and she loved to fish.
She was a member of Crossway Baptist Church.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Don Morgan, Lloyd Morgan and Larry Morgan; one sister, Pat Ashley; and her husband, Paul McDon Kilburn.
Survivors include one son, Bruce James Kilburn of Redwood; one daughter, Lisa Kilburn Barnette (Tim) of Valley Park; four grandchildren, Jacob Paul Kilburn, James Matthew Kilburn, Leeanna Lyons and Kayla Ashby; three great-grandchildren, Slade Lyons, Adelyn Lyons and Azley Ashby; two brothers, Jay Morgan of Orlando, Fla., and Danny Morgan of Navarre Beach, Fla.; two sisters, June Crabtree of Yazoo City and Linda Flanagan of Manilla, Ark.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with Brother Ronnie Purser officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Thursday until the hour of service.
Pallbearers will be Jake Kilburn, Matt Kilburn, Allen Lyons, Ryan Ashby, Raymond Kemper, Tony Kolb, Lee Harvey and Scott Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Gouras, Joe Aaron, Larry Harris, Robert Ashley, Ricky Lowery, James Clark, Dr. Lee Giffin, Dr. Paul Pierce, IV, Dr. David Fagan and Dr. Yoshinobu Namihira.
The family would like to thank the fourth and fifth floor nursing staff of Merit Health River Region Medical Center and the staff of Shady Lawn Nursing Home for their loving care of mom.
