Lucille Blackledge Logue

Lucille Blackledge Logue died Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 83.
Born Nov. 14, 1931, in Sandersville, she was a graduate of Agricola High School. She was employed as a public affairs specialist for the Waterways Experiment Station and the Jackson District Recruiting Command.
In retirement, she was president of her own furniture factory near Tupelo, a realtor on the Gulf Coast, and later with Jones and Upchurch in Vicksburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hopp and Tressie Lucille Waldrop Blackledge; her husband, Louis Harold Logue Sr.; all of her siblings; and a granddaughter, Lori Roberts.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Logue of Tioga, Texas; three sons, Louis Logue and Michael Logue, both of Vicksburg, and Keith Logue of Longview, Texas; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Family graveside services are 4 p.m. today, June 6, 2015, at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Louis Logue officiating.
There is no visitation.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Heritage House, the ICU team at River Region, Drs. Lee Giffin, Calvin Masterson, Mac Jarmon and the staff of Jones and Upchurch Real Estate.
Glenwood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
The family requests donations be made to a favorite charity.
