William Garrett “Billy” Biedenharn III died Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center.  He was 68.

Mr. Biedenharn was the son of the late William Garrett Biedenharn Jr. and Lonnie Lytle Biedenharn Wilson. He attended St. Aloysius High School and Hinds Junior College and served in the U.S. Air Force. After completing of his military duty he worked as a security guard for several organizations, including the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C.

In addition to his parents he preceded in death by his stepfather, George Wilson.

He is survived by cousins and other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. P. J. Curley, pastor of St. Michael Catholic Church, officiating.

Visitation will be at Riles Funeral Home Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service.
