UTICA — James Walker Carson died Monday, July 20, 2015, at St. Dominic-Jackson Medical Center. He was 86.

Survivors include his wife, Layuna Carson; and two girls and two boys.

Suneral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015, at New Oak Ridge M.B. Church, Newman Road, Utica. Burial will be at Belmont M.B. Church Cemetery in Utica.
