Charlie Harrel Whittington died Monday, July 27, 2015, at her home. She was 43.

Charlie was the daughter of the late Randy W. Harrel and Ruth Jamison Harrel. She was a graduate of Vicksburg High School and attended Hinds Junior College.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Charlie was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, David Whittington; two daughters, Shelbi Wright and Jesie Wright; two grandchildren, Remi Jamison Wright-Weber and Malea Ariel Jones; and sister, Niki Harrel Little (Joe).

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Riles Funeral Home with visitation from 9 a.m. until the service. Burial will be at Cedar Hill cemetery.
