Gloria Jean Williams died Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 72.

Ms. Williams was born on March 15, 1943, to the late Cleve and Pearl Geneva Williams in Warren County. She was a member of Greater Grove Street Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James Williams, Cleve Williams and Willie Williams.

Survivors include her two daughters, Carolyn Spencer of Raymond and Janice Robinson of Vicksburg; three sons, Michael Williams and Elias Williams, both of Vicksburg, and Richard Robinson of Jackson; one sister, Daisy Williams Hemphill of Vicksburg; six brothers, Forest Williams, L.D. Williams, Herbert Williams, Christopher Williams, all of Vicksburg, Johnny Williams of Milwaukee and Larry Williams of Chicago; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Greater Grove Street M.B. Church with the Rev. Dr. Casey D. Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen MB Church Cemetery, Redwood under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
