MAYERSVILLE — Umer James Williams died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. He was 77.

Survivors include his wife, Dora Lee Williams of Myersville; two sons, Umer James Williams of Rolling Fork and Harry Carter of Tunica; four daughters, Dora Dolley, Ruthie Bunton and Delphine Dolley, all of Mayersville, and Donna Davis of Grace; three brothers, Robert Williams of Mayersville, Johnny Williams of Vicksburg and Larry Williams of Myersville; two sisters, Gracie Waites and Freddie McGee, both of Mayersville; 18 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Services are Sunday, Aug, 23, 2015 at Rose Hill M.B. Church in Mayersville with pastor Larry D. White officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery in Mayersville under the direction of Mitchell L. Walker Funeral Home.
