Six guilty in circuit court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:
• Clarissa Shawna Alexander, 25, 1313 Jefferson St., was found guilty of violating probation for third-offense domestic violence and sentenced by Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick to completion of alcohol and drug treatment followed by a return to supervised probation for five years. Alexander was indicted in July 2011.
• Thomas Christopher Derossette, 28, 1327 Mount Alban Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of uttering a forgery and was sentenced by Patrick to Ninth Circuit Drug Court for a period not to exceed five years, a $1,000 fine, $1,200 restitution and $1,309.50 in costs. Derossette was indicted in May.
• Billdevon Shelton, 19, 300 Overlook Drive, pleaded guilty to drive-by shooting and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. In the drug case, he was sentenced by Circuit Judge M. James Chaney to eight years in prison and $384.50 in costs. In the shooting, he was sentenced by Patrick to five years’ probation, a $1,000 fine and $1,084.50 in costs. Shelton was indicted in January.
• Jimmy Lee Lyons, 30, 2501-B Franklin St., pleaded guilty to larceny of a motor vehicle and was sentenced by Patrick to a year in prison followed by three years’ probation, a $1,000 fine and $584.50 in costs. Lyons was indicted in October.
• Jessica Faye Pope, 25, 110 Brister Road, was found guilty of violating a sentence to Ninth Circuit Drug Court and sentenced by Chaney to complete the Mississippi Department of Corrections short-term alcohol and drug treatment program followed by completion of an independent rehabilitation probation and five years’ probation. Pope pleaded guilty to a criminal information dated Feb. 19.
• Melissa Ann Williams, 41, was found guilty of violating probation for felony shoplifting and sentenced by Patrick to Flowood Restitution Center until a balance of $2,317.50 is paid. Williams was indicted in January.
