Michael “Big Mike” Curtis Hart of Vicksburg died Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at his home. He was 52.

He was born and raised in Vicksburg.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy W. Hart; mother, Shirley Ann Hart; brother, Raymond Hart; and two grandsons, Johnathan Hart and Paul Rather.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy K. Hart of Vicksburg; one son, Michael Curtis Hart II; four daughters, Holly “Naynay” Hart, April “Leelee” Hart, Jennifer “Goochie” Hart of and Angelia Friley, all of Vicksburg; four stepsons, Tommy Friley, Claude Friley, James Friley of Vicksburg and Joseph Friley, all of Vicksburg; two brothers, Jimmy and Tony Hart both of Vicksburg; one sister, Brenda Hart of Vicksburg; nine grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be at a later date.
