Warren Central’s first trip to the postseason was all too brief.

The Lady Vikes, making their first postseason appearance since the program was formed in 2011, were blitzed 3-0 (25-7, 25-8, 25-17) by DeSoto Central on Tuesday in the first round of the MHSAA Class III playoffs.

DeSoto Central (29-6-1) is the defending Class III champion.

Warren Central (12-15) has never finished a season with a winning record.
