A look at how players from Vicksburg-area high schools did in college and NFL games played over the weekend:

• Mississippi State kicker Devon Bell (Warren Central) had three touchbacks on six kickoffs in a 42-16 win over Kentucky.

• Kentucky safety A.J. Stamps (Vicksburg High) had four total tackles in the loss to Mississippi State.

4Mississippi College running back Darius Youngblood (Vicksburg) played, but did not have a carry or catch a pass, in a 31-14 loss to Florida Tech.

• Belhaven lineman Steve Cooper (Vicksburg) started at left guard in a 46-13 loss to East Texas Baptist.

• Southern Miss offensive lineman Norman Price (Vicksburg) started at right tackle in a 44-10 win over Charlotte.

• Louisiana Tech cornerback Adairius Barnes (Port Gibson) had five solo tackles, a forced fumble and fumble recovery, and two pass breakups in a 45-16 win over Middle Tennessee.

• Cornell College (Iowa) running back Patrick Brown (Vicksburg) had two carries for minus-1 yard and caught one pass for nine yards in a 49-7 loss to Monmouth College.

• New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler (Vicksburg) had four solo tackles and two assists in a 30-23 win over the New York Jets.
