A birthday party will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Roca Restaurant and Bar for little Tony, a mafia member’s son or at least that will be the guise during the production of “Badfellas,” a performance by the Detectives Comedy Dinner Theatre group.
“This is our Halloween show, and it is more of a comedy than mystery,” director of the Detectives Comedy Dinner Theatre Eric Riggs said.
For more than four years, the Detectives Comedy Dinner Theatre has been offering dinner shows in Vicksburg.
“We do shows in Vicksburg about four times a year,” Riggs said.
The Detectives Comedy Dinner Theatre is an interactive comedic event in which guests enjoy a meal while actors are amongst the audience.
Dinner tickets are $49 and reservations are required. Friday’s meal will be served buffet style and include a mixed field green salad or spinach salad with a sugar cane vinaigrette or buttermilk ranch dressing. Sides include oven-roasted potatoes or garlic sautéed green beans and entrées will be oven-roasted chicken with sundried tomatoes with herb cream sauce or thinly sliced roast beef with mushroom demi glaze. Desserts include chocolate marble cheesecake and sweet potato white chocolate bread pudding. A witch’s brew will be served as the complimentary cocktail.
The bar will open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7.
Roca Restaurant and Bar is at 127 country Club Dr. For more information or to make reservations, call 601-638-0800 or visit thedetectives.biz.
