Edward Lee Jones

Edward Lee Jones died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, at his home. He was 76.
A native of New York, he was formerly employed by the Bechtel Construction Co. where he worked at various construction sites all around the globe, the last being at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. After completion there, he opened the “Top of the River” restaurant where it was open for many years.
He was active in the Little Theater play, “Gold in the Hills,” a member of the Vicksburg Moose Lodge No. 1581 and a member of the Elk’s Lodge BPOE No. 95. He was an international member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
He is survived by his sister, Sharon Heller of Sunbury, PA; his brothers, Herbert Jones of Ocala, FL and David Jones of Binghamton, NY and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Cresswell officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
