Mary Lucy Chambers died Nov. 25, 2015, at her home. She was 54.

She was born May 7, 1961, in Adams County to the late Julius Chambers Sr. and Esther Barker Chambers. She was of the Baptist faith.

Ms. Chambers was preceded in death by her parents, Julius Chambers Sr. and Esther Barker Chambers; a brother, Ronald Chambers; and seven uncles.

She was a member of Nolan Hill A&M Church in Lorman. She graduated from Jefferson County High School in 1979, and was employed at Vicksburg Engineering and Manufacturing for eight years.

Survivors include her daughter, D’Andra Chambers of Vicksburg; her son, Andrew Peoples Jr. of Vicksburg; two sisters, Isabell Weddington and Rebecca Chambers both of Lorman; two brothers, Julius Chambers Jr. of Cannosburg and Donald Chambers of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; and a nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Tracy Cusic officiating. Burial will follow at McCaa Cemetery in Lorman under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 1 to 7 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 7p.m.
