A Vicksburg man accused of attempting to cause bodily injury to another and having a firearm was held without bail Thursday.

John Evans, 32, 1920 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., was arrested Thursday and charged with weapon possession by felon/aggravated assault, according to Warren County jail records.

Evans was extradited from Illinois on an outstanding capias from 2013, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.

 

One held for use of stolen gun

A Warren County man accused of controlling a taken item was held without bail Thursday.

Chauncey Gray, 40, 4601 Halls Ferry Road, was arrested Thursday and charged with possession, sale and transfer of stolen property, according to Warren County jail records.

Gray was arrested on a warrant for a stolen firearm, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.

 

One free after capias arrest

An Edwards man accused of having and selling drugs was out on bail Thursday.

David Bailey, 45, 1904 Good Hope Road, Edwards, was arrested Thursday and charged with sale of controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, according to Warren County jail records.

Bailey was arrested on a recent capias stemming from an August 2014 arrest, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.

 

One held for stealing

A Vicksburg woman accused of stealing money from her former employer was held without bail Thursday.

Tasha Ford, 30, 228 Whatley Road, was arrested Thursday and charged with embezzlement, according to Warren County jail records.

Ford was arrested on a warrant from her previous employer, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.

 

One held for drug court

A Vicksburg man was held without bail Wednesday for drug court.

Zachary Brooks, 19, 211 Drusilla Lane, was held in the Warren County Jail Wednesday for failure to report to drug court, according to Warren County jail records.
