A Warren County woman accused of stealing money from customers at her job was held without bail Thursday.

Savannah Jones, 27, 182 Lakeside Drive, was arrested Wednesday and charged with embezzlement, Vicksburg police Lt. Troy Kimble said.

In recent weeks, Jones was transferring money from customers’ credit cards onto gift cards totaling $2,400, Kimble said. She was the assistant manager at Goody’s in Vicksburg Mall and is being held pending her initial appearance, Kimble said.
