Ronnie Carr died Dec. 15, 2015, in Dallas, N.C.

Mr. Carr was born May 14, 1964, to the late Benda Carr and Pink Townsend Sr. in Vicksburg. He was a member of Jones Chapel M.B. Church and attended Vicksburg Public Schools.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; grandparents, Leon Sr. and Corrine Carr of Vicksburg; and Earline and Mishon Townsend of Winona.

Survivors include two daughters, Victoria Harris of Vicksburg and Amber Carr of Charlotte, N.C.; one son, Torrey Smith of Vicksburg; four sisters, Sonya Marbley, Richelle Townsend of Humphrey, Texas, Dana Northern of Crosby, Texas and Jamita Townsend-Harper of Southaven; one brother, Pink Earl Townsend Jr. of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and other family members.

Memorial service is today, Dec. 29, 2015, at St. Paul Church in Bovina.
