Funeral services for Dominiq Madeline “D Lee” Lee will be Sunday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. in the Greater Grove Street M. B. Church with the Rev. Dr. Casey D. Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge. There will be a visitation hour from 6 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2 in the Chapel.

Lee passed away on Sunday, Dec. 27, at her residence following a sudden illness. She was 28.

Lee had been employed with the Vicksburg Warren Health Clinic and Promise Hospital as a CNA. She was a member of the Greater Grove M. B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Louis Davis; her maternal great-grandmother, Jimmy Foote; her grandmother, Dorothy Lee Netter; grandfather, Willie L. Nette; and paternal grandmother, Jessie Hunter.

She is survived by her son, Arkylen Magee of Vicksburg; mother, Shirley Foote Lee of Vicksburg; brother, Danny Marino Turner of Dallas, Texas; stepfather, Leon Williams of Vicksburg; godparents, Robert and Shantell Simmons of Vicksburg; and members of the Dotson, Wallace and Davis families.
