Jackie Sue Parks of Vicksburg died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at her home. She was 58.

Born in Louisiana, she lived in Vicksburg for the past 34 years and was a member of the Apostolic Church of Vicksburg.

She is preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. John Parks Sr.; two brothers, Glynn Maples and Virgil Maples; mother, Audrey Maples; and father, Wesley Maples.

Survivors include five sons, John Parks Sr., Glynn Parks, Toby Parks, Cody Parks and Millard Parks, all of Vicksburg; two daughters, Renee Ogle of Bentonia and Rose Parks of Vicksburg; and 16 grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at the Apostolic Church in Vicksburg. Burial will be at Apostolic Church Cemetery in Bentonia, with the Rev. John Parks Jr. and the Rev. David Ogle officiating the service at the church, and the Rev. Raymond Edwards officiating at the graveside service under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be John Parks Jr., Glynn Parks, Toby Parks, Cody Parks, Millard Parks and Gerald Ogle. Honorary pallbearers will be Trent Parks, Nathan Parks.
