Items missing from storage unit

Furniture was missing Thursday following a burglary reported Wednesday in Vicksburg.
At 3 p.m. Wednesday, a Sanyo flat screen television worth $500, a bedroom suit worth $2,500, a sofa and loveseat worth $2,200, two lamps worth $600, an antique fan worth $250 and a living room table worth $600 were reported stolen from a storage unit at 3040 Indiana Ave., Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.
Cash missing from vehicle
Cash was missing Thursday following a burglary reported Wednesday in Vicksburg.
At 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, a ladies purse with a large sum of cash was reported stolen from a 1995 Buick on the 2100 block of Washington Street, Williams said.
One held for burglary
A Vicksburg man accused of entering a building with intent to commit a crime was held without bail Wednesday.
Elijah Qualls, 16, 1511 First North St., was charged as an adult with residential burglary (forced) and possession of burglary tools, according to Warren County jail records.
Qualls is the juvenile who was arrested with Eric Washington, 18, 214 Greenview Drive, and Demarcus Qualls, 18, 163 Kid Lane, at 1 a.m. Saturday near Oak and Rigby streets, Williams said.
A patrol officer pulled over the vehicle the three individuals were in on a routine stop, Williams said. Property from recent home burglaries in the area was found in the vehicle, Williams said.
One held for assault
A Vicksburg man accused of simple domestic violence was held without bail Wednesday.
Michael Moffett, 45, 1310 South St., was arrested Wednesday and charged with simple assault domestic violence third, according to Warren County jail records.
