Limen Lee Seid

Mrs. Limen Lee Seid died Jan 16, 2016. She was 81.

Born in Hong Kong, China, she was the daughter of the late Kan To Lee and Shui Ting Poon. She had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1960.

Mrs. Seid owned and operated the Hillcrest Shopette with her husband, Walter, until their retirement in 1991. She was an avid football fan and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

She is survived by a son, Dr. Melvin H. Seid of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; daughters, Tammy Seid Lum of The Woodlands, Texas, and Peggy Seid Gong (Keith) of Bristol, Tenn.; grandchildren, Brian Gong (Natasha) and Katherine Alexis Gong; great- granddaughter, Olivia Gong; and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Seid is survived by three sisters, Lai Ching Wong, Lai Chun Li and Lai Wan Lowe (Edmund).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter D. Seid;  three sisters and a brother.

Services will be 2:30 pm Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at Riles Funeral Home with Dr. Matt Buckles, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service. Interment will be at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Seid to charities of choice.
