Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Keyes of Newellton, La., will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Newellton, La., with the Rev. Larry Foster and the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Legion Cemetery in Newellton, La.

Mrs. Keyes died Thursday night, Jan. 28, 2016, in the Merit Health River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 91. She was born in Laurel, and had lived in Newellton for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Newellton.

Survivors include one daughter, Anna Faye Keyes of Vicksburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William Frank Keyes Jr.

Pallbearers will be George Cooper, Randy McDonald, Joe Gossett, Craig Keyes, Steve Doyle and Roy Baker.
