Porters Chapel Academy only got one hit Tuesday, but it was a big one.
Brayden Ray’s two-run double was part of a seven-run outburst in the fifth inning that carried the Eagles to an 8-6 victory over Tri-County in their season opener.
PCA used four errors and four hit batsmen to generate its offense.
Garrett Hutchins pitched two innings of relief to get the win.
PCA will next play Monday at 6 p.m., on the road at Benton Academy.
