Timothy Rory Ros

Timothy Rory Ros died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. He was 81.
Mr. Ros was born in Pascagoula and raised primarily in Georgetown, S.C. After a brief service in the United States Air Force, he graduated from Belmont Abbey College and began working for International Paper Company in Camden, Ark. in the laboratory. He transferred from Camden to Vicksburg and retired from International Paper Company as a technical supervisor of environmental services. He resided in Biloxi from 2007 until his death.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; his parents, Joseph and Sarah; his brothers and sisters, Desbert, Jermaine, Joseph Miguel Jr., Thomas Collins, John Vincent, James Patrick and Richard O’Reilly. Survivors include his sons, Timmy (Carole) or Aurora, Colo. and Hank (Linda) of Biloxi; his daughter, Sarah Kiger (Sam) of Austin, Texas; his brother, Rex of Greensboro, N.C.; and his sister, Mary Ann of Dallas, Texas. He had one granddaughter, Rachel Ros of Biloxi.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at St. Michael Catholic Church with Father P. J. Curley officiating. Burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery will follow under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Riles Funeral Home with the Knights of Columbus prayers at 6:30 p.m. and prayer services at 6:45 p.m.
The pallbearers will be Doug Boykin, John Resta, Kyle Reid, Robert Portwood, Stephen Simpson, David Bull, Scott Smith and Chris Ferrill. Honorary pallbearers will be Max Dornbusch, Parker Stevens, Tom Osborn and John Piazza.
