Amanda Boleware and Joseph Jabour won the mixed doubles championship, and Warren Central sent both of its boys doubles teams to the Class 6A state tournament with a strong showing Tuesday in the Division 4-6A individual tournament at Halls Ferry Park.

The winners and runner-ups in each division tournament advance to the state tournament in May, and the Vikings had eight players in all to move on. The Division 4-6A tournament included Warren Central, Clinton, Greenville and Murrah.

WC’s boys doubles team of Brent Styles and George Wilkerson defeated teammates Matthew Register and William Wooten in a three-set match as both teams advanced to state.

Lauren Davis finished second in girls singles, as did Alexa Jeffers and Olivia White in girls doubles.

Boleware and Jabour beat Clinton’s Eric Holmes and Kate Camillo 6-3, 6-4 in their championship match.
