Deloris “Lois” M. Reed Brown died Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Covenant Health and Rehab in Vicksburg. She was 63.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Gerode Brown; and her mother, Elizabeth Reed.

Survivors include two sons, David Reed of Vicksburg and Leroy Brown of Bay St. Louis; one daughter, Charlene Reed Cooks of Killeen, Texas; a stepson, Roy Brown of Clinton; two stepdaughters, Myra Harris and Mary Turner, both of Vicksburg; two sisters, Bertha Reed and Pat R. Wilson, both of Vicksburg; two brothers, Bennie R. Reed of Clinton and Donald C. Reed of Port Gibson; a god-sister; two aunts; one uncl; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11a.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Antioch Christian Church in Port Gibson with Rev. Lonnie O’Quinn officiating. Burial will be at McCay Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 5p.m. at the funeral home, and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
