Two Vicksburg teenagers involved in a drive-by shooting Tuesday night in which another teen was wounded have been certified as adults by Warren County Judge Johnnie Price.

Price certified Taerion Doss, 17, 103 Abraham Drive, and Paul Wilson, 102 Hazel Drive, after a hearing Friday in County Court. Both are charged with aggravated assault and drive-by shooting. Wilson, who turns 18 today, was released on $1,000 bond. Doss was released on a $5,000 bond.

Both had been held at the Warren County Detention Center after their arrests, and posted bond after they were transferred to the Warren County Jail.

The shooting occurred about 11:52 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Signal Hill and Cairo Drive, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

A bullet ricocheted off a nearby vehicle and grazed a 14-year-old across the face. The juvenile was treated and released from Merit Health River Region Medical Center.

The two teens turned themselves in to the Vicksburg Police Department at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, where they were arrested.
